We've long admired the work of Tsao & McKown (see our Architect Visit on the firm); we're adding the duo's retreat in Rhinebeck, New York, to our list of favorites—so much so that we want to recreate the look ourselves.
The farmer's cottage was renovated and furnished by Calvin Tsao and Zack McKown to serve as their weekend retreat from the city. We like the whitewashed walls and refinished floors throughout; not to mention the mix of midcentury classics with Shaker-inspired furniture.
