Nicole Hollis is a designer and founder of NICOLEHOLLIS, an interior design firm specializing in high-end residential, hospitality and luxury interiors. Bridging the worlds of art, fashion and architecture, Nicole’s work is known for its dark glamor, imagination, and curatorial vision. Her sensory-rich environments are imbued with a modern mixture of found objects, repurposed materials and accessories and furniture made at the highest level of international craft. Fostering close relationships with several of the country’s leading architects, Nicole is adept at creating a seamless relationship between site context and interior space. Her collaborative process also extends to prominent artists and artisans—Experimentation in steel, wood, textiles and site specific installations characterize her pioneering practice. Dedicated to a balance of beauty and innovation, Nicole’s work celebrates elemental surfaces such as metal and stone while reinventing them in unexpected ways.
The fourteen person staff nurtures each project from concept to post construction and works holistically to realize each client's vision. Hollis oversees all aspects of environmental, interior and graphic design, and orchestrates all aspects of a project including merchandising, product design, brand extensions and retailing. “NICOLEHOLLIS creates interiors with timeless style that appeal to whimsy and imagination,” Nicole says. “It’s my job to challenge perceptions of what an interior space can be.”
