Swipe right for a tour: the home of Danish couple Swipe right for a tour: the home of Danish couple Johanne Landbo(@johannelandbo ) and Lukas Filip (@__lukasfernandes ) of @femte.til.venstre . Located in Copenhagen, “The house was very basic and quite minimalistic,” says Johanne. “The floors are the old wooden floors from 1927; [there was a] newly renovated bathroom with beautiful Jura Grau marble tiles, which was just how we like it. All rooms plain, painted white, so it was quite easy for us to make it our own and give it a touch of us. It was in great condition, actually; not much to fix except for the fun aesthetic things.”

Swipe right for a tour of this glamorous pre-war a Swipe right for a tour of this glamorous pre-war apartment in Warsaw, Poland by @colombe_studio . The owner of the one bedroom apartment tasked Marta Chrapka, founder of Colombe, with creating a Parisian-inspired flat. Chrapka was a little dubious. “I was not convinced. The Parisian style idea, that was my client’s recommendation,” she says. “I was not sure that it would not be pretentious. We didn’t have the proper height or good windows”—not to mention the apartment had been stripped entirely of period charm. Still, Chrapka knew there was potential, as the space was housed in a historic 1930s building. She set out to return the home to its original pre-war layout, then added the basics of any good Parisian apartment—French doors, elegant molding, classic wood flooring in “Hungarian point” (chevron).

Poet-collector Kostas Anagnopoulos (@kostas_anagno Poet-collector Kostas Anagnopoulos (@kostas_anagnopoulos ) recently opened @thisispidgin , an upstate New York antiques shop that sent ripples of excitement throughout the design world. “I think all antique and vintage dealers who go into business do so in part because they’ve been accumulating for so long that it’s just time to practice detachment and share the finds,” he tells us. “That’s certainly true for me.” Kostas is also a poet and a seasoned salesperson—he and his husband, Jesse James (@misterjessejames ), founded the creative consultancy/design firm Aesthetic Movement (@aestheticmovement ), which we have been chronicling for years. 📸 Photography by @victorschrager . 🔗Link in bio to read the whole story.
