A reproduction of the early 1900s French bakery table common to the country’s famed patisseries and boulangeries, we repurposed decades-old wood reclaimed from scaffolding in Great Britain to capture its time-worn appeal. Like the original antique, our table has simple, subtly tapered legs and a long, ample frame. An extension offers additional seating via a butterfly leaf.
- Crafted from reclaimed 30-year-old pine scaffolding in Great Britain
- Hand-selected planks are planed and lightly sanded but otherwise left unfinished, displaying the nicks and imperfections earned over decades of use
- Each table extends by means of a butterfly leaf tucked neatly beneath the top
- 60″ Table seats up to 8 with 18″ extension, up to 6 without
- 72″ Table seats up to 10 with 24″ extension, up to 8 without
- 84″ Table seats up to 12 with 36″ extension, up to 8 without
- 96″ Table seats up to 12 with 24″ extension, up to 10 without
- 108″ Table seats up to 14 with 36″ extension, up to 10 without
- By their nature, unsealed wood planks may be somewhat uneven, and may cup or bow slightly over time, further enhancing their rustic one-of-a-kind character; cracks, nicks and imperfections will be present
- This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated. Each is unique.
