Steal This Look: A Noirish Living Room in Coastal Sweden

We’ve featured before the remodel of a 19th-century house in Härnösand, Sweden by Sofia Nyman of Skälso Arkitekter. Outside, the wood house is painted blackish-green while inside, inky shades of gray commingle. For those keen on the monochromatic look, Nyman gets it right layering shades of gray and black with moments of light wood. Here is a list of similar sources, many of which are Scandinavian favorites (Ikea, Hay, and Ferm Living).
