Kitchen: Refrigerator Lids from Bowl-Overs

June 30, 2011

If you’ve banished plastic wrap from your life, Bowl Overs are a clever (and environmentally friendly) way to keep leftovers covered. A friend in England sent me a set recently, and I’ve been happily using the cotton covers for leftovers in the fridge, on dishes on the countertop to keep flies at bay, and, most recently, on picnics. The cotton tops fit snugly over dishes, come in six different sizes, and can be easily machine washed. A set of six is £11.50 from Hunter Gatherer.
