  • The annual NYC Architecture & Design Film Festival concludes on Sunday, October 20th, with a screening of City Dreamers, a film by Joseph Hillel focusing on four female innovators in the world of architecture and historic preservation (Phyllis Lambert, Denise Scott Brown, Blanche Lemco van Ginkel, and Cornelia Hahn Oberlander). For tickets, go to the Architecture & Design Film Festival.
  • Larry Schaffer, the proprietor of LA design shop OK, is opening a Tokyo branch called I’M OK on Saturday, October 26. Follow along at OK the Store on Instagram.
  • We’re eyeing the flexible-fit glass and silicone lids from Food Huggers, which work with bowls you already own; the company is current running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for production.
  • Well worth a visit if you’re in NYC: the Farrow & Ball cabinet of curiosities installation at Roman & Williams Guild in SoHo, featuring F&B’s new Color by Nature collection of 16 shades developed in collaboration with the Natural History Museum. all drawn directly from the natural world.
