Dimmed lighting, a fresh-baked scone or slice of cake, maybe a crackling fire: These are the ingredients for a cozy winter. But what about combining them?
Feldspar Studio and Berdoulat hit upon an unlikely mashup when they looked to patisserie—specifically, canelé—for their first lighting collaboration a few years back (see: Object of Desire: Bone China Pendants Inspired by Patisserie). Delicate and subtle rather than twee, the bone china designs feel comfortingly familiar—and delightful once you realize why.
Recently, the studios added a pair of new bakes to the pastry collection, inspired by brioche and that most evocative of pastries, the madeleine. Have a look:
