Bath: Vanity Shelving at Cooper Square Hotel

We recently admired the shelving at the Cooper Square Hotel in the Bowery, only to discover that the rooms and bathrooms were designed by Modern Arc, the LA-based design firm behind Gjelina Restaurant (see Hotels, Lodgings & Restaurants: Gjelina in Los Angeles). The custom black vanity shelving with sink (shown below) is made from a highly durable epoxy material typically used in laboratory applications, and the bath mirror features a clever attached shelf. Both items can be cutom-ordered; contact Modern Arc directly for more information. N.B. The firm was recently nominated for the AIA / LA 2010 Restaurant Design Awards.
