3M Couple Speak Campaign with Product Giveaway

September 14, 2011

Not all DIY home improvement projects are created equal: in fact, many a simple project can send couples running amok. In last month’s 3M Couple Speak Video Competition, we wrote about the tensions that can arise between couples when the best of design plans collide with a modest budget–an all-too familiar scenario (ask anyone who has undergone a major remodel). In the end, it all boils down to good communication. Our thoughts: arm yourself with a sense of humor, crack open a bottle, crank the music, speak your mind (as kindly as you can)–and then submit your experience to the 3M Couple Speak Video Competition.

If you make the judges laugh, you could win 3M’s prize giveaway, which includes TEKK Protection, innovative respiratory, eyewear ,and hearing products designed to help keep you safe; LeadCheck Swabs, an EPA recognized, non-toxic rapid test for lead in your home; ScotchBlue™ Painter’s Tape (the original blue tape that DIY painters and pros have loved for more than 20 years); and Advanced Abrasives, the latest in abrasive technology.

All you have to do is submit your humorous experiences (real or make-believe) to the 3M Framework Facebook Page and tell us you’ve done so by posting us a comment (don’t forget to include your translation). Good luck!
