A lack of efficient, sleek and wobble-free fans on the market inspired designer Ron Rezek to create his own. Since 1997, the he has been producing state-of-the-art fans like the Velo (2008). Approved for use in damp and covered outdoor areas, this fan was designed in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star guidelines for energy efficiency. Energy Star fans are, on average, 50% more efficient than standard models. With its quiet blades moving thousands of cubic feet of air per minute, the Velo is designed for use in all seasons; a reverse switch keeps warm air circulating during cooler months. A patented single-piece rotor makes this fan wobble-free and the high-power motor has four speeds that are controlled by remote control (sold separately) or by an existing wall-mounted switch. Two stem attachments (5" and 13") are included for various ceiling heights. Assembly required.
