Founded in 1885 in London’s West India Docks, Davey & Co’s marine lighting and hardware graced many of history’s best-known vessels. As Britain’s maritime heyday faded, Davey & Co used the skills honed manufacturing deck lights, saloon and navigation lanterns to launch Davey Lighting. Davey’s hand-made fixtures were snapped up by the world of architecture and design, taking pride of place in locations such as the Savoy Hotel.
The miniature ship’s well light with guard is weatherproof for use indoors or out. It is made of solid brass with a highly polished or weathered finish. The glass lamp well is available as clear or frosted. Uses a 15 W appliance bulb only.
