House Call: Aline Matsika
November 20th, 2008
From Julie:
Designer Aline Matsika owned a shop in Paris before opening her eponymous store in NY. We love the way she integrates antique African textiles and tribal artifacts and objets into her interiors. She specializes in upholstering traditional, formal French furniture in Kuba cloth or geometric patterned cotton and raffia from Senegal.
