November 3rd, 2008

From Janet:

We love this idea for a stair runner, made of stitched-together vintage kilim remnants, spotted in a bohemian modern interior by LA-based Commune Design.

This post couldn’t be more timely. I have a beautiful old kilim given to me by my husband when we were dating. Unfortunately parts of it are somewhat moth and sun damaged now. I was going to throw it out, but now I’m thinking about salvaging the good parts and recycling them in some creative way.
