Kitchen: Sink Accessories

September 25th, 2008

From Julie:

When you live in a house with an open floorplan, your sink area is always on view. I’ve spent years trying to figure out a perfected reality: dispensers for dishwashing liquid, natural sponges (as opposed to the purple synthetic numbers my husband brings back from Safeway), and wood-handled scrubbers.

oh my god, i thought i was being so overly-analytical about my kitchen accessories because, i too, have an open-plan kitchen/ living area. but thank-you for these great finds!

I have never commented on a site before but love your style and taste - and have never found a magazine, design book or site that I have ever been so totally in sync with before! So here goes… A little less charming and unique than the items you’ve posted but indispensable in my kitchen. The Caldrea Sink Set in Stainless Steel. The products are great and ecologically sensitive, and I love the container. I swapped out the hand lotion for a bottle of organic produce wash and am in heaven. http://www.caldrea.com/detail.aspx?ID=148
