Is it possible brass is having a moment? Triggered by a brushed stainless/chrome fatigue? Here are some examples:

Of course brass is making a come back - My House is full of brass fittings and I want to replace it all. Maybe I should consider repainting doors etc. to complement the fittings I already have.
