Remodelista Reconnaissance: An Accordion Wall Lamp for the Bedside
This week, while researching our post Brücke 49: A Perennial Design Favorite in Vals, Switzerland, 10 Years On, we eyed a handy wall-mounted accordion light in one of the pension’s guest rooms.

Our sleuthing revealed that the light is the Sax Light, designed by Erik Hansen in 1952 and still made at Danish company Le Klint’s factory in Odense, Denmark.

The Sax lights start from €755 via Le Klint; they’re also available via Hausful as well as Finnish Design Shop (where the Sax Wall Lamp in Light Oak is $797 and the Sax Wall Lamp in Smoked Oak is on sale for $697; the black is not currently available).
