Remodel on A Budget and a Seriously Tight Timeline

We bought a 1921 Gambrel House and had 6 weeks to overhaul it - including removing asbestos, moving the kitchen, touching every surface badly in need of update - before moving in with our 2 year old and Great Dane Puppy. While I am a designer, I don't do kitchens and baths - this was trial by fire.
