Our 1928 home used to be the local convent here in Sunnyside Gardens, Queens. Our kitchen was originally three rooms: a bedroom, a pantry and a small galley kitchen. The kitchen itself was originally where the table and china cabinet are presently. The wood floors are original to the house.
