Description from Food52

Before kitchens across America were outfitted with Pyrex and plastic everything, there was yellowware, a popular, durable ceramic fired from a yellow-hued clay. Though it fell out of fashion after the 1940s, yellowware has recently been enjoying a comeback, and we’ve got our sights set on this modern version made of American-mined stoneware with a lead-free glaze, with decorative white bands that are hand painted by Vermont Farmhouse’s master potters. In a one-up over the originals, these are safe to use with your oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer.

  • Made in: Woodstock, Vermont
  • Made of: American-mined stoneware, lead free glaze
  • Size: Medium is 7.5″ in diameter x 4″ H and holds 33 ounces; Large is 11″ in diameter x 5″ H and holds 96 ounces
