Join us at WAX Atelier Labs in the quiet grounds of Abney Park to shape a waxed linen tea rose, softly perfumed with green tea and damask rose wax. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll work with fragrant waxes and hand-dyed linen to create delicate, lifelike blooms inspired by the lost roses of Abney’s 19th-century rosarium. Guided by artists Lola Lely and Kumiko Oya, you’ll learn each step of crafting a unique sculptural rose to treasure for years to come. The workshop is part of The Lost Rosarium of Abney — an immersive exhibition of lifelike, fragrant wax roses that reimagine the lost botanical wonders of Abney Park, as part of London Craft Week 2025.
