Founded in Japan more than 100 years ago, Yamazaki started out as a family business that specialized in the manufacture of ironing boards. Today, the company produces a variety of clever pieces that address everyday organizational needs. Its Tower Magazine Rack (2014) holds newspapers, magazines, books and more, featuring a built-in handle for easy carrying to and fro. When it’s time for recycling, thread a string through the base, align it with the two open notches, tie the stack in a neat bundle and discard.
