When Brad Sherman, the designer of our Food52 offices, couldn’t find the perfect farm table to work in our new space, he did what the best designers do and came up with his own. A solid, minimalist construction of a white oak surface atop rusted steel x-frame trestles, these sturdy farm tables stand up to constant daily use—and are the envy of everyone who works, eats, and meets around them. Each table seats 8 to 10; surround yours with a mélange of vintage chairs or choose from 1 or 2 of Brad’s matching benches that run the length of the table. In case your floors are wonky or you’d like to sit a little taller, the feet on the table can be adjusted up/down by screwing left/right.
