The Long Confidence is the design studio of Rafi Ajl based in Berkeley, California. TLC makes work driven by grace, quality, and curiosity. Working at the intersection and constellation of craft, art, and design, each piece is made by hand in their workshop and is designed for a lifetime of use.
Each of the large glass pieces is unique. They are hand-made through a studio-specific process that uses loose wooden slat molds and hand-work to create the forms. Some of the slats are straight, and others are carved with textures and geometries.
