Braided rattan Model S301 stool designed by Isamu Kenmochi (1912 – 1971). Original circular cushion in red woolen cloth. Circa 1962. From the literature:’ Modern Japanese: Retrospective Kenmochi Isamu’ 2004, pp94 – 95 and ‘Made in Japan 50s – 60s’ 2014, p27. Some minor losses and surface wear to rattan. Fabric, excellent.
