It keeps it’s shape with a small but thick band of folded-over canvas sewn onto the holder (the band also makes nice built-in handles). Hand-sewn on old equipment in a cabinet-maker’s workshop in Tokyo to a remarkably high standard of quality; you’ll fall in love from the moment you unwrap it.
