Kaare Klint, 1930

The Propeller stool came into being in 1930 as a school exercise by one of Kaare Klint’s students. The stool was not produced during Klint’s lifetime, however a prototype was made in 1956, and the stool was put into production in 1962. It was not officially presented until the Joiners Guild Furniture Exhibition in 1964. Characterized by two propeller-like legs with either an ash or smoked ash build, the Propeller Stool offers flexible portability when folded together. Though great for seating, an optional tray is also available and can be conveniently placed on top of the stool to be used as a small side table.
