Piccolina – the second release of Available Editions – is an elevated version of the humble door stop. Designed and made by Swell Studio using Italian marble remnants from its furniture and lighting production, the pieces are cut, sanded, and polished to create an elegant wedge for well-appointed spaces. Available in Roman Travertine, Red Travertine, and Alabaster. Dimensions vary.
Founded by Mike White in 2017, Swell Studio focuses on the design and fabrication of contemporary furniture and lighting. Each piece is handcrafted with time-honored techniques from exceptional materials and elevated with artful, unexpected details. As a lifelong snowboarder, surfer, and outdoorsman, Mike’s work is inspired by the shapes, textures, and our connection to the natural world. The studio is currently based in the Hudson Valley.
