Totes such as Bean Tote and Helmet Bag tend to have damaged handles. They fade, and some are even worn out. I wondered
if I could create an item that would make vintage lovers feel positive about the handles that they take for granted…
That was the beginning of the idea for this handle.
Since I am particular about the bag itself, I used Italian vachetta leather to create an imported feel.
Vegetable tanned vachetta leather is thoroughly soaked in oil, so it shines and darkens in color, changing into a unique aging.
And since long ago, American outdoor manufacturers’ metal fittings have often been antique gold brass colored.
This snap is plated with real brass, which is not usually sold, so you can enjoy the aging that is unique to brass. This product allows you to enjoy
the easy grip of the handle, the moist feel unique to aged leather,
and the aging of the leather along with the canvas tote.
