Kid gloves for precious knives.
Mitheis in Piberbach (Upper Austria) manufactures this magnetic strip for storing knives. The oiled walnut houses a collection of individual magnets. Unlike the usual magnetic strips this arrangement generates a very stable magnetic field, which facilitates the removal of the knife. Knives with thin blades and a heavier handle may slip off the strip however. The walnut is in any case far more gentle than a metal surface. The color of the natural grain shown here may change.
Solid oiled walnut with powerful neodymium magnets inside. Height 6.5 cm, width 39 cm, thickness 3 cm. Weight 720 gr. With screws and wall plugs. Knives are not included.
