‘Minerva’ Sofa by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard
A fantastic ‘Minerva’ sofa designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard for France and Son in the 1950s. This example has its original sprung seat and back cushions that have been reupholstered in a buttercup yellow fabric. The frame is original condition, with scratching and wear from age and use. Retains the original ‘fd’ (France & Daverkosen / France & Sons) emblem on the frame. Seat height is 17″
Measures: 75″ long x 31″ deep x 31″ tall.
