This is a beautiful bowl made by Mushimegane Books that comes in a deep green colour. Much like the texture on the Katakuchi it's quite revealing how all these layers peel away from the bowl and showcase a variety of colours underneath. It never gets boring to look at.
These are much more substantial than the Otsukimi bowls, which are extremely delicate, as they are thicker all around and are not made of porcelain. This specific bowl comes in a medium size and would be a nice functional piece as well as decorative, you could use it for eating rice or for other small foods for example. It really is a one off.
