Hudsalve / Hudsalva was originally developed for use in the Danish and Swedish military in the 1950s. It was used for extreme conditions including staving off frost bite and applying to wounds.
Now it’s widely popular in Scandinavia and more commonly used for:
Dry lips
Dry skin on feet, elbows, and hands
Small scratches from shaving
Damaged cuticles
Heel cracks on feet
Can also be used for dog paws
Hudsalve only contains natural oils, there are no fragrances or parabens. It does contain natural vanilla oil and has a delicious taste.
