The Peas carpet from Hay is made of 100% virgin wool. The special feature of the design: the carpet is composed of hundreds of handmade wool balls, which give the carpet ( Peas English peas) its name.
The characteristic texture of the carpet is created by hand: In Nepal, the small beads are rolled by hand until they have the round shape that makes the Hay Peas carpet so special. Then the wool beads are attached by nylon thread to make the rug as durable as it is beautiful.
