Handcrafted in Northern Ireland by The Mourne Textile Workshop
Made from pure merino wool, this pillow is a mid-century minimalist’s dream. Each one is hand-loomed with yarns that carry alternating weights to create a chunkier, more tactile weave.
This black and white pattern is inspired by one of Gerd Hay-Edie’s designs. Back in the fifties, she designed fabrics for famous Irish designers, and now her daughter and grandson carry on her legacy in this collection of modern tweeds.
Each one is hand-loomed by a group of nine weavers. All crafted in a fair trade environment in their studio in the Mourne Mountains.
