As part of our Analogue+ series we had these Fumibako ( Document Boxes ) crafted specially for Analogue Life by craftsman Masaru Kawai. Made from sustainable cedar, the boxes are inspired by the traditional Fubako of the past. They were originally used to store documents and letters, featuring ornate designs and even paintings on their covers. Kawai departs from the extravagent, embracing subtlety and grace in carving precision. Each piece is unique in its grain patterns. The three available sizes also stack comfortably as a set for easy storage..
