Having been working on lots of image-based pieces lately, I felt the need to create some abstract work. Colour Block No1 is one of my explorations into this, drawing on mid-century textile art for inspiration. Wishing to keep things interesting, colours used in this piece include blush pink, tan brown, olive, black and grey. All my images start life as something hand created, either painted, printed or drawn. My images are then digitally arranged and coloured.
The paper size is A4. Image size is slightly smaller than this to allow for a white border, where the print is titled, signed, dated and numbered. This is a run limited to 100 prints. This size print will fit happily into a standard off-the-shelf matted picture frame with an opening of 8 x 11.5 inches (this is a standard European size). I am happy to offer this print to fit an 8 x 10 inch frame for the North American market on request (please state your preference in the “note to seller” box at checkout). The image is printed on quality heavyweight Archival Matte paper (315gsm) using Epson Ultrachrome inks. Please note that colours may vary slightly due to monitor settings. Please also note that the main image is published here in medium resolution only. Please be assured that your printed image will be beautifully crisp, as indicated in the photos.
