Description from March
Somewhere between antique and modern sits a small three legged stool designed so light that it can be held with one hand. Handmade in solid maple with a natural dye derived from logwood to achieve a pitch black finish.
From Ifuji, the small studio based in Nagano, Japan from craftsman Masashi Ifuji who reproduces old objects from various cultures as “a guide into tomorrow by making lessons of the past.” Unique and essential pieces are made by hand and designed to be used often.
