Description from Bold Old Phones
This early version of the Black Model 500 telephone had a metal dial. The phone companies were trying to use their leftover parts from the previous Model 302 “Lucy” phone. You can see this phone in early episodes of Sex in the City sitting on Carrie’s dresser in her apartment.
