As a stylist, Beverley Hyde has spent her career making other people’s products look lovely. Over the years, working for clients such as Calvin Klein Home and Williams Sonoma, she developed a keen eye and a desire to curate her own line of home goods.
A constant traveler, Beverley discovered a small family-owned textile business in the southeast region of Puglia. Working closely with the third-generation owners, she developed a small napkin and towel collection, and Bassett Hyde was launched (stay tuned; she’ll be adding more products to the line).

Above: Three years of back and forth with samples resulted in Napkin No. 1; a solid white flat-weave cotton bordered with a subtle jacquard. The signature red embroidery appears on all the linens. Above: A detail of the jacquard border of Towel Style No. 1. Made of 100 percent Egyptian cotton, the towels are absorbent and quick drying, making for a stylish wrap. Above: The all-over jacquard pattern of Towel Style No. 2 is slightly more traditional. The artful attention to detail can be seen in the images for the collection, which were inspired by the Philip Groning film, Into Great Silence.
