Furniture: Stools by Karimoku New Standard in Japan

Karimoku New Standard is a collaboration between longtime Nagoya furniture maker Karimoku and Isolation Unit, a company founded by designer Teruhiro Yanagihara. Under Yanagihara’s direction, Karimoku New Standard has collaborated with several European designers (we recently featured the Homerun Chair by Sylvain Willenz).
