Services Offered

Hatchet Design Build is a full-service firm comprised of an in-house design team, licensed contractors, and a custom fabrication studio. By sharing a single-minded passion for working within the preexisting and contingent fabric of New York, their work is founded on establishing a harmony between contemporary ambitions and longstanding traditions.

Having a design team under the same roof as a construction company means that the idiosyncrasies of each project are rendered opportunities, rather than obstacles, to establish the character of a space. It is with a relentless commitment to craft, material sensibility, and collaboration, that this character comes into view. Hatchet’s integrated services provide a no-nonsense remodeling experience, with fluid communication at every step of the renovation.

Park Slope Townhouse Parlor Kitchen

Although the historic home kept original features through out the space, Hatchet designed and constructed a contemporary kitchen that would both compliment the restored elements and upgrade the utility for years to come.
