Description

Vitreous enamelling is a very labour intensive process, with each piece going through three stages of production. Fired three times at approximately 800 degrees centigrade, each plaque receives the undercoats, the blue enamel, the white text and the listel (border).
All our plaques are handmade by artisans in France and represent the 'joie de vivre' of our nearest neighbours.
