Austerity in the Alps, courtesy of architect Katia Polletin. The brainchild of Polletin and hotelier Gerold Schneider, the Allmeinde Commongrounds in Austria is a converted barn that functions as a meeting place, gallery, cultural center, and base for artist residencies.
