New from Belgian company Vincent Sheppard, the vibrantly colored Joe Chair has a distinct LA feel. The Lloyd Loom woven paper rattan and chrome-plated steel chair is available in colors like fuchsia and indigo, as well as more familiar neutrals such as natural and white. In 1917, Marshall Lloyd, an American, patented the process of twisting kraft paper around steel wire; the furniture became the rage in Europe and was found on the promenade decks of luxury liners and on the Zeppelins.)
