Accessories: Roy McMakin for Heath Ceramics
October 31st, 2008
From Janet & Julie:
On a recent visit to Heath Ceramics in Sausalito, we admired Seattle artist Roy McMakin’s subversive and quirky pitchers and jugs. The series, called Vases About Language & Redemption, is available as a set of seven through the Matthew Marks Gallery in New York. McMakin has tweaked a range of forms, from classic to modern, to create humorous yet functional vessels that are strangely compelling, both individually and as a group.
