Lighting: Areaware Cluster Pendant Lamp
September 26th, 2008
From Julie:
Kathleen Hills’ Cluster Pendant Lamp for New York City design collective Areaware is available in black and white and comes with a china ceiling rose; we especially like the braided electrical cord. $700 for a cluster of four at Velocity Art & Design; available in multiples of four up to 16.

I like the feel of this light, but I prefer the warmth of fabric covered pendant lighting like what you can find at http://www.alluminare.com, because it gives my dining room a more welcoming feel.
