Architect Visit: Ullmayer Sylvester
September 1st, 2008
From Julie:
We like the rawness of this reinterpretation of a traditional terraced house by UK architects Ullmayer Sylvester—the exposed Parallam framing, the soaring interior spaces, the vast, unadorned expanses of windows—plus the budget of £120,000. Read about the construction process at The Slow Home, including how the architects used recycled newspapers and sheep’s wool for insulation and installed an environmentally friendly sedum roof. I so enjoy these pages! I live in Argentina and I have a small store I should call “table-top bazaar” as I sell everything that goes ON the table yet I love to keep up with design all over the world.
I have also found Dezeen a very interesting site
Thank you and be free to e-mail me any news.
Patricia
