Our friend Jerome Buttrick of Buttrick Wong Architects clued us in to this sleek, sculptural cabinet hardware by artisan Carl Martinez, who hand-makes and finishes each piece in his lower Manhattan studio. Imagine how a pair of these knobs could ennoble an otherwise unremarkable midcentury piece.
