Lighting: Bright Idea

August 7th, 2008

From Janet:

Until now, we’ve thought of chandelier light bulb choices as being limited to the tacky flame-tip variety. But a couple of days ago, we spotted this great idea at Therien Antiques in San Francisco (along with a bonus dripping-in-jewels Danielle Steel sighting). The clever antiquists at Therien use appliance-indicator bulbs in their chandeliers for a much more tasteful, discreet effect.

A full range of sizes and wattages is available at your local hardware store from the usual suspects: Satco, Phillips, GE, Sylvania, and the like. Be sure to select bulbs that are compatible with your fixture.
